At Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center, we understand that the healing process involves much more than just physical care.

That is why we have become a registered, Eden Alternative™ living center. The Eden Alternative™ is an innovative philosophy in long-term care. The foundations of this philosophy is based on the belief that loneliness, helplessness and boredom account for most of the suffering experienced in today’s long term care settings. Through the implementation of the the principals of Eden, Holy Cross is working to create a vibrant living and working environment for our Elders and caregivers to eliminate these three plagues.

Eden sees long term care as a human habitat where people can continue to live and learn rather than an institution for the frail and elderly.
